One of the best records I own. Sound is amazing. Wide, deep, everything you’d expect from Rammstein. Minimal warping and the packaging is super high quality
-
For some reason, my copy seems slightly fast. The sound is great otherwise. No other record in my collection does this.
-
The sound of this album is huge. I think it sounds fantastic. The vinyl was flat and came without any flaws. No complaints.
-
Edited 9 months agoDefinitely mastered for blowing you out of your seat! Which is kind of what Rammstein is all about. I understand why some people don’t like the sound of these Rammstein remasters, but I get why they’re done this way and yes, a very enjoyable listen at concert levels, though I gotta be in the mood for it. Certainly not an everyday, easy listening pressing! LoL!
-
Sounds even better than some MOFI records i own... so crips, clear, clean and silent... I use a Ortofon Blue as a stylus and element.
Maybe the first release on vinyl was bad but i do not own that copy... only the REMASTERED version of it which sounds amazing! -
Sounds great when listening with good gear. I don't know what you expect from a Rammstein vinyl if you are not liking this.

Edited 12 months agoWhoever says these pressings sound bad is either mad, deaf or playing it on shitty gear. Yes, there’s a little crackle here and there, but the mastering is excellent. Sounds great. If you prefer that typical late 90’s/early 00’s compressed sound (which is no shame in this case, compression is a part of the Rammstein sound) do stick to your cd’s. If you want to hear a clearer, punchier, dynamic and more natural sounding version, do get these reissues. (Clearaudio Concept with MC, Clearaudio phono, NAD, B&W 603 S2)
-
Album sounds perfectly fine to me. Clear, crisp, dynamic. Rega Ania Pro MC cart running through a Rega Aria Phono Stage / Musical Fidelity M5si to Paradigm loudspeakers. Not a review, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with this release.
-
I still have my old Sehnsucht CD, but I really wanted to pick this one up on vinyl in 2020. I was a little bit worried but honestly, my pressing sounds fantastic. It doesn't sound painfully compressed or overly loud. The dynamic range is excellent, the quiets are quiet and the louds are loud and there's no fuzz or whooshing.

Edited 7 years agoGerman metal is so awesome, and this is a great example of that.
Just to let you know, I think the release date is 2015.
