Edited 2 years agoI went in thinking this was the album version on side A, and took the Serpentwithfeet credit to mean he produced the original unawares to me, so it jarred me when his vocals vinyl-scratched in and changed up the melody. Interesting discovery to make as a throughline between Utopia singles and his feature on Fossora proper. Side B remains the closest we'll get to how the intended flute version of Utopia (similar to Vulnicura Strings) might have sounded. -
Beautiful, full sound to this pressing. Quiet and flat. The harp version of the single is amazing. -
This single in the vinyl edition aimed high and reached it in all aspects. It's a beautiful track with some quiet bits which test vinyl to the limits. Stunning. -
