I hate how the sleeve opens at the top on her first three albums but the pressing itself sounds fantastic, especially considering how much is being pressed on one disc

Edited 3 years agoCrystal clear pressing. Some tracks sound better than others. Human Behavior sounds pretty muddy, but the rest sound pretty good. The album is on the quieter side. Great album. - along with her next two (Post, Homogenic) before she became too eccentric, in my opinion.
Pretty bare bones packaging. Generic poly inner sleeve with no lyric sheet. -
Mine sounds flawless, just wish it came with liner notes. I paid 26 bucks at my local store, perfectly flat and nice thick wax. This is a favorite of mine, definitely a must to any collection!

Edited 4 years agoSuch a great sounding album! For reference, using an AT-LP120x turntable with a AT-VM95ML cartridge. Seriously, this is one of my best sounding records, and an amazing album to boot!

Edited 3 years agoI go back and forth on this pressing every time I listen to it and I think it's just because some parts just sound much better than others. Every now and then you can notice a very low-level whoosh on side A that becomes a bit more present in the last 30 seconds. Mine also has the slightest warp that doesn't affect the sound. The sound on this record has moments of brilliance and other moments that are much less impressive.

Edited 8 months agoSuperb on all s - definitely the reference pressing, IMHO. Quiet / flat pressing, huge soundstage, and massive bottom-end.

In my opinion a good sound. But 5 stars can not be set. There is no real analog sound and deep separation of musical instruments. I think it have a lot of detail with a clean press but for some reason sound like a CD of sorts. Although it is possible Björk never had analog sound and electronic sound prevails. But still, the sound of this vinyl does not deserve 5.
