The value of an artist's creation depends more on their creativity and talent and less on the instruments he uses. The listener's appreciation is based on individual tastes and prejudices. The age of the listener and the zeitgeist must be factored in.

I JUST finished listening to a mono pressing of this lp, and read in the liner notes that the first composer listed said his composition was intended for two channel sound. So I came here to look up a stereo copy. And then I see this picture of John Lennon holding a copy (don't know if it's mono or stereo). Anyway, nice to see that picture taken in 1967! That was 1 to 2 years after the record was released. Good times.

Side 1 is a bunch of primitive synthesizer sounds seemingly at random. Interesting yet perplexing. I like listening to bizarre things but no one I know would make it more than a minute or two. Side two starts out with more electronic sounds with hollow electronic voices mixed in. Continues on with some almost musical ages, still my wife was giving me the WTF? look. I'll give this one a poly lined sleeve. Interesting enough to pull out once every 4 or 5 years. Sound quality is pretty good.

There's a nice picture of John Lennon holding this LP:
