Great box! Box sets are my favorite Gorillaz items and this one is a great example. The light blue vinyl looks great, and I very much appreciate the durability of the art prints. 2D's journal is one of my favorite box set items from Gorillaz, especially as a fan of the story and characters. The certificate of authenticity is a very nice touch. This box does not include a CD version of the album like other box sets from the band do, though I recall this release having a significantly lower cost on release, so it's understandable. The lenticular cover looks great, though for some reason I feel it doesn't adhere to the actual box, and I worry the edges might start to lift in the future. The lenticular cover kinda feels like a giant sticker in a way. With that being my only complaint, I would consider this a very solid release and box set.

Whilst the presentation of this album is fantastic, my light blue vinyl is not a good pressing. Distortion on some highs and vocals on tracks like Tranz. Bass is very heavy though.

very underrated album in total, with "one percent" to be one very seldom gem
i love this deluxe version, it brings out the whole concept of the cover the best

No where near their best album but this boxset is well worth it, the cover looks great on my shelf and has some rly cool stuff inside

a great boxset for a brilliant album, the presentation is magnificent. love the cover art, and the blue record is gorgeous. lovely little trivial stuff included too - notebook, pins, code. great price for a deluxe boxset too. really recommended!

A question for this album, we buy it in belgium and remark that on the both side of the vinyl, we have the same image, same text, same all (side b printed on both side) !! On the photo on this site, one side is just a photo without text, and the other side with text... if someone can look on his vinyl to look at this and say me if it's the same for u ?
Thanks -
This set is great. The box is awesome with the image on front and the prints are super cool. The pins have some of my favorite quotes, and the book is so cool with the lyrics and sketches and just a cool thing. Oh, yeah the vinyl sounds really great and no issues with it. The light blue looks great.

Frankly speaking, I'm disappointed. The packaging looks stunning, but the sound is muffled. Even my mp3 version sounds better! The channels seem overloaded with all the instruments and the vocals making them blended and indistinct. Switching from stereo to mono surprisingly helped.

No problems with my copy, good inherent volume but give it a nice cleaning before playback to be on the safe side. To my ears, it sounds like a follow-up to "Plastic Beach" more than "Humanz"... and I'm just fine with that. :)

I absolutely love this album. Its a musical triumph. I wasn't really into Humanz, which I found to be a disconnecting sprawl of Albarn's studio parties. This on the other hand is a consistent record, with the Deluxe being a great product, with a very silent blue vinyl. My only criticism is that other than present bass, it sounds very boxed in, lacking in stereo sizzle and separation. This could be the source sounds (Albarn's use of iPad's etc) or the mastering... Still as an example of his relentless pursuit of melody, its an absolute winner.
