Für mich eine der besten Deep House Produktionen der letzten 30 Jahre. Ein Meisterwerk und ein absolutes muss in einer gepflegten und herausragenden House Sammlung.

Vocal samples on It's Getting Bigger come from Darryl James / David Anthony Project's It's Gettin' Bigger

This EP introduced me to Yost (and to Guidance too I think) and I've been a fan ever since.

It contains 4 top quality tracks of beautifully produced deep, jazz house that demonstrate real musicianship.

I always loved the neat arrangement of Natural High with it's deft, ever evolving keys that build perfectly before giving way to the distinctive vocal and sax lines.

It's Getting Bigger is on an equal par quality wise to Natural High but with a slightly more hypnotic "heads down" groove. Absolute tune and I agree with the Moodymann comparison below.

The other 2 tracks are great too, rounding off this underrated, classic EP perfectly.

"It's getting bigger" is a classic mid 90's deep house track that has survived the decades to the point of where producers of today have been trying to re-create the sound that hits like this have accomplished. I know Kevin is talented and is still a relevant producer in the current industry but in all honesty i'm not even sure he can make a newer track that is this unique and special! I said what I said. lol. A must have for any true house aficionado.

"It's Getting Bigger" is fantastic, still play it now. Has that live, Moodymann feel to it and defo works on the floor.
Although I can see its appeal, I was never a fan of Natural High. The sax in it is too cheesy and noodley for me. Saxaphones work better in more insistent house tracks and techno but I realise that just comes down to taste.

This is really a wonderful record and has been a part of my collection for years now. I keep returning to it. Severely under-appreciated, judging by the price it's currently selling for. Kevin Yost has been a master of this style of sophisticated, jazz infused lounge-house for decades and this record is one of his best in my humble opinion.

Like seriously, how dope is 'So Far Away'? Some of the best laid back deep house you'll find. Once that sax hits... excellence. Introduce this to some of your jazz friends and guaranteed they'll like it.

"It's getting bigger" is definitely a dance floor rocker - It uses that same vocal sample as Nick/David Holder's "Yeah", which curiously has the same drive and energy for the peak time moves. The rest is beautiful, deep, jazzy house more mellowed deep house. Well worth picking up.
