Coldplay – Live In Buenos Aires / Live In São Paulo / A Head Full Of Dreams

I'm very happy to have this in my collection! I absolutely love the crowd noise as it truly immerses me in the "concert experience" and makes me feel as if I'm really in the audience of their last Head Full of Dreams show. It also has a practical use. The crowd noise is constant meaning the only parts of the album that are silent are the fade in and fade out of each side, making any crackling or static hard to notice.
This package includes an insane tracklist of songs, featuring all the main singles from AROBTTH (albeit an acoustic version of In My Place with their drummer on vocals). This album was recorded on their final show of the AHFOD tour, meaning it has God Put a Smile instead of the song Birds, which I personally think is a better choice for a live album like this. I could listen to this album every week and never get tired of it.
The box serves as a great art piece, and the whole gold aesthetic makes everything feel . You also get two DVDs, one is a concert film (not their last Buenos Aires show) and a documentary. I find it interesting how they chose DVDs over Bluray, but I would recommend the documentary either way.

If I had to choose one Coldplay album to keep on vinyl, it would 100% be this one. If anyone wants to know how many songs from each studio album are present in this boxset, here is the list below:

inferior quality. first album grooves cause needle to slide into song past opening on both sides. id on this one.

Unfortunately, vinyls sounds as someone, who was recording this live show, did not take the recorder out of his pocket (or bag...). Otherwise great album! I love Coldplay! Wonder how the CD sounds like?

Great sound considering that it's a concert recording, the gold vinyl along with the dvds is a nice touch too. I feel like it could be even better though as a gatefold jacket, kind of like what Radiohead did with the OKC reissue, though I can get over that easily when the records themselves sound as good as these do.

Nice and quiet wax, sound is a little lower and noticeably compressed but quality overall. The gold vinyl was a kick to open it up to, will definitely have fun working through this.

Sucks that the videos are on dvd, blu ray should be included considering the MSRP

Their Music is true Art and their shows are unbeatable... but this just doesn´t do it´s justice. Audio isn´t the best master. Video is a bit overedited in my opinion. But it´s great for someone like me who want´s to have a reminder in their Vinyl collection of the BEST CONCERT EVER!

Very quiet pressing, sound is decent and I love the gold pressing. But why DVD?
50 euro for the box set, but can't spend just a touch more for a better quality video.
