Edited 4 years agoHow are there zero reviews for this album?! Like not just this version, but the entire discogs entry for T.I.'s King? Kinda blows my mind as someone who was in high school when this came out and it was everywhere. I mean yeah, T.I. is a fuckin' moron, there's no arguing with that. But the first three tracks on this album are straight fire! And then you still have Ride Wit Me and Top Back to look forward to. The rest is basically a wasteland, but man those five songs! Some of the best Southern Hip-Hop bangers ever made.
Anyhow, this piece of wax from VMP is solid. Minimal surface noise, if any. Hella bass if you want it and it's well defined, mastered by Brian "Big Bass" Gardner. No real problems with sibilance. Looks dope, too. It won't be on my standard rotay but I could see a day when I throw it on again.
