Other songs are fine but the end of who wants to live forever is ruined, distorted. Other tracks very good.

I purchased solely for the Live Aid recording which is worth it alone. Better versions of the rest are on their other albums.

Edited 9 months agoWhy did they omit “Crazy Little Thing” and “We Will Rock You” from Live Aid? Such a dumb thing to do. It’s incomplete. But other than that my copy sounds superb. No issues with audio and one of the best sounding Queen pressings in the last few years. I think it’s 1/2 speed but not boomy like other 1/2 speed pressings from Queen.
-
Unfortunately, the whole recording is shifted to the left. The bass is also missing a litten bit. Otherwise it would have been a great pressing. I really like the selection of songs.
-
My LP is playing at a low sound level, and the balance is shifted to the left. I am not satisfied with the sound quality of this vinyl..
-
Very disappointed about the pressing/sound quality. Sounds flat, fussy and compressed.
They had one job… They failed! Doesn't pay justice to that great movie (and to QUEEN of course). -
Certainly the Live Aid tracks seem a little flat on this pressing - definately wanting in bass. However the rest of the album seems fine to me.

No doubt this is cut from the CD master.
Sounds flat and lifeless, is cut really low so you have to turn it right up just to hear it.
On the plus side the pressing is pretty flat, and quiet but no use having nice vinyl if the quality of the sound is sub par..

Good value for those looking for a good "Best of" . A kind of good mix between Queen Greastest hits Vol 1 and Vol 2, the tracklist is almost perfect to me.
The only disposable tracks are the "intro" traks and the Smile track
I don't complain about the pressing quality, but it doesn't blow my mind either.
