Edited 15 years agoI was expecting great things from this release, with EMC consisting of Masta Ace,Wordsworth,Punchline and Stricklin. It gets off to a shaky start with the very mediocre "Who We Be" the rest of side 1 holds together very well with "Leak It Out","Say No" and the dope "Traffic" ft Little Brother then on side 2 you get two bullshit sentimental numbers broken up by two massive tunes, namely "Git Sum" ft Sean Price and the drum heavy single "EMC (What It Stand For)".Sides 3 and 4 again stick to what seems to be the modus operandi for the whole album.I get frustrated listening to an album which changes pace so easily between tracks.Sadly i think this is at best a mini album gone wrong. The Show could have been put together in a more fluid way and on one 12",bangers on one side and the filler on the other.I'm sure a lot of you will disagree with my critical evaluation but i'm constantly moving the needle and skipping what i deem to be unnecessary.I will probably never listen to this from start to finish.peace.
