One of my top favorites from KG!
Probably their most consistently good album, there is not a bad song on it. The transition from nearly children's music to oddly metered electronic is quite something!
My "Fire Goby" pressing looks pretty cool as well. The sound is nice, with no vinyl issues to speak of.
Highly recommended album! -
Mine came nice and flat, super-quiet, which is a surprise considering that the rest of my KG vinyls sound badly distorted. Sorry for all the folks who had bad luck with it, 'cos this is gonna be one of my go-tos to spin. -
Also too tight to fit on the spindle, used a pen to widen it, now it fits just fine. Thought I was going to snap it trying to get it off, though. -
Mine was also too tight to fit on the spindle. Managed to force it down, and sounded fine playing. Thought I was going to snap it trying to get it off. Ended up having to just lift up the whole platter.

My copy came warped and was too tight to fit on the spindle. Disappointing. Excellent album but seems to be a luck of the draw, if it is warped or not. -
Edited 5 years agoMy copy appears to have a signature on side A label. ?? Anybody else? Initially I thought it was me being careless marking with the spindle, but no definitely looks like a feint signature. -
My copy of this is warped, and the sound is scratchy, tinny and generally poor, trying to get a replacement. Don’t know if bad press generally?
