The Beatles – Love Me Do

This variant has:
- no 'Made in Gt. Britain' text below Parlophone £ logo
- Side A title right-aligned with 'Lennon-McCartney' writing credit.
- no missing parenthesis on Side B writing credit
- PT tax code embossed on Side A label, suggesting manufacture in late November or December 1962.
- P above ZT tax code on both runouts

Tax codes were stamped in the runout, and embossed on the punch out centre. These were sometimes updated, when the codes changed, by adding additional letters, resulting in three or four letter codes. For example, for this release an ‘P ZT’ code can be found in the runout, where ‘P’ was added to the original ‘ZT’ code when the tax code was changed to ‘PT’.
