Edited 5 months agoI bought a copy of this recently and purposely chose this A4 / B5 timtoms version over the other three slightly earlier 1977 ABCL UK pressings. Why you may ask? I had read that some of these early pressings suffer from inner groove distortion. This one however, has a dead wax area twice the size of the others. Have played it through several times now and it sounds great and consistent all the way through. If there is ANY inner groove distortion on Deacon Blues and Jodie, I cant hear it!

This album and this pressing (uk) is what dreams are made of. Guess you can't go wrong when perfectionists Fagen and Becker were behind the console constantly

sounds great but i bet a US or newer audiophile cut is better as it doesnt wow like i thought it would but its decent
