Qualidade muito boa, finalmente posso dizer que tenho a edição em vinil e cd. Amo demais esse disco, ótima prensagem vale apena 🤘🏼

I am absolutely stunned at how good this is. An absolute punch to the gut—in the best way possible. The bass is stunning: tight, full, and constantly present without ever overpowering the mix. The mids hold up — not washed out or buried, like so many 90’s albums on vinyl; looking at you PJ. There’s air around each instrument, and the whole thing still feels cohesive—like a band in a room, not a jigsaw puzzle of sounds.

Edited 4 months agoI should start with a disclaimer here. I just replaced my Shure M55E cartridge of indeterminate age, which came with my inherited turntable, with a new AT VM95E, so this might as much as review of that cartridge as it is of this record. I still don't really know the full scope of the differences between those two on my system and this record was never played on the M55E.
This pressing sounds full, dynamic, and punchy on this setup. The bass kicks nicely. The kick in that comes after the first seconds of Iris was absolutely thrilling. I owned this on CD in the 90s and played the hell out of it, so I am intimately familiar with the album itself, and to my ears, it has never sounded this good. My only negative here is that the sound stage isn't super open or layered. It's not compressed sounding at all, and there is a sound stage. It's just not one that you would write home about.
The gatefold jacket and the reproduction of the artwork are worthy of a 25 year anniversary issue. Very nice that they used poly lined inner sleeves and not just paper.
This is worth the current asking price, and I'm super happy to have it in my collection.
Update:I changed my rating to 5 stars. I just keep listening to this record! It is, in fact, one of the best sounding records I own. -
Mine needed the ol' dust brush... and that's it. I didn't need to clean mine. Both discs are flat and play nice and quiet - no hiss, fizz, snap, crackle, or pop. Good balance. Good mix. Full bass. Crisp and clear mids/ highs. Sounds really good.

Ultrasonic cleaning didn’t help with the awful snap, crackle and pops throughout. One of the worst sounding records for surface noise in my new collection. Would be a good sounding record otherwise.
-
Mine has two side B labels on Disc 1, anybody else run into that issue? If not then it makes my copy kind of unique, and the songs are still correct so no biggie. Other than that the album sounds awesome, so meaty and full...anybody else complaining that the band LIVE sounds TOO LOUD on this record are smoking the bad stuff

Classic record so many great songs. 1994 was so rich with great artists and bands and Live was played often and loud! This band can definitely rock with the best of them. My pressing is great! I do see other reviews concerning the loudness sounding distorted. I would guess that this record might be sensitive to some cartridges. I use a Ortofon Blue which does have a higher sensitivity but as I mentioned it does sound great. Highly recommended!

Edited one year agoSounds decent but easily the most warped record I have ever received; my tonearm is working overtime.
With that being said, this still sounds so much better than the CD master. -
A little too loud, dirty when new, some distortion and crackles but in general a good sounding record, considering what it is.
The delicate songs/parts are very nice, but the loud ones are not great!
Been listening to this album off and in since 1994 (CD, Mp3, Streaming) and am happy to own this LP. -
WOWis all I can say.
This is easily a top 5 sounding record in my collection.
Vinyl itself was a little dusty but I cleaned it before playing. Flat and dead quiet (didn’t see what others were talking about in Lighting Crashes)
As far as the sound…..
This would be a record if show off to show “why vinyl sounds better”
PHENOMENAL mix and great dynamics
