can you get the extras anywhere on cd or mp3 ?? [i.e. not in blu-ray audio form]. thanks for your help

Edited one year agoHave owned it since 2019 and been enjoying the stereo mixes enthusiastically. However, finally today put the 5.1 disc into my Blu-ray to enjoy DTS 5.1 surround mixes. It elevates these beloved classics to another level. Surround format is well suited to psychedelic music, as you might imagine, and there are some clever object placements in the soundstaging.
Assuming you are an XTC/Dukes fanatic, and if so, you must own this set. Some great demos included as well.
5 stars. A brilliant reissue. -

Worth the price of ission just for the demos, some of which in my opinion are better than the final versions. They're less self conscious and (slightly) less clever, and sit musically between XTC's post punk roots and the psychedelia that the Dukes were having fun with.
An excellent set. -
First - fantastic to finally have this in 5.1 on blu-ray. Sound is fantastic. I was initially excited about this release, and the 5.1 blu-ray, but could not tell from original release notes how packaging would be. I will be keeping both 2009 Digibook releases as packaging is superior on those releases with full lyrics notes etc, plus the hardcover digi-books to me are superior to card sleeves.
