Pearl Jam – MTV Unplugged

Wonderful pressing, Krieger again did a great job cutting this, nice image and vocals really pop out and MPO did a great job pressing it, very silent with nice gatefold, overall a very good pressing of this very underrated unplugged within the grunge scene. This is right up with the very best Eddie gave Black a new meaning with his voice, short but epic.

Great. Bass is a little wide and guitars are thin but it’s live so ?? When you compare to the unplugged record from Alice In Chains or Nirvana this is poor.

Has official Sony release on gatefold.

Beautiful clean sound, no static noise. It comes with an anti-static sleeve. All around great value.

The latest is considerably more expensive.

I am new to the vinyl business, so please excuse my asking. I have a 2019 Pressing RSD and I am also confused by the 2021 Versions as I cannot discover any differences. Please advise I am open to any pointing at my mistake.

Is this the same pressing as 2021 (not rsd) pressing? If so, it should be merged. If not, those who sold it as 2021 repress (on this 2019 pressing page) actually degraded the value of 2019 pressing and should be considered as fault item sold (In my honest opinion). I am not greedy, I am not selling vinyl, I am happy that more people can own it and play it, but also it somehow bothers me a little bit.

Imagine buying this for 100 euros, then realise it got a repress for 20 euros, and then realise again that it isn´t worth 100 euros but "29,99".

Side note on this release. I was not happy with the mix, so I have located and purchased Ten CD + Ten Redux CD + MTV Unplugged DVD box.
Stereo sound on DVD has the same issue as LP (where are the guitars?), while 5.1 sounds much better (even though it was down-mixed to 2 channels by my receiver).
I suspect LP release inherited all the issues of stereo master from the DVD release...

EDIT: Ok I was wrong. The bootleg I had in the old days was mixing in tracks from other nights.
Original message: It should be noted that this album traditionally has 11 songs, rather than the 7 seen here. Also it traditionally has guitars included. This version is so bassy that the guitars are inaudible.
Tracks missing: Intro, Rockin In The Free World, Garden, and an early version of Corduroy.

I must agree with others that guitars are sounding little bit thiny and silent ... and bass with drums goes upper sound level ... nevermind still is this great and I am happy to own one

Fantastic pressing, I haven't noticed the drowned out guitars when listening. Also, I would hold off on picking this up at an inflated price, it was a large "published" pressing, see if they materialize or if it gets a wider release in time. That being said, very happy with the album :)
