Can anyone tell me - aside from the silver sticker on the front are there any noticeable differences between this reissue and the original ? Just so I know I’m buying the right one.
Thanks in advance ✊🏼 -
Excellent pressing (how it SHOULD be and how it USED to be....believe me, new records in the 70s and 80s were like this all the time). My copy is perfect straight out the sleeve.
The music is wonderful. 😎 -
An amazing compilation. Imagine being such a prolific musician that have so many previously unreleased tracks just sitting on the shelf. Incredible really.

Strictly technical aspects
The AWESOME:
This pressing kinda rocks actually. There is virtually ZERO surface noise; you might forget you’re listening to vinyl instead of a CD. Mastering and pressing gets two thumbs up; audio has breathing room and is not brickwalled! Track by track commentary gives stories behind the songs.
The VERY QUESTIONABLE:
With each side having a duration of 15 minutes at most, this could have easily been a 2-record set. This is only brought up because there are three records (supposedly) being fit into 2-record packaging. 2 can fit in both sides of the gatefold and one has to be loose in the middle? There are plenty of proper options for 3-disc packaging and this decision really has me puzzled. Also, in this day and age, not having a card with the vinyl is pretty much unacceptable. Another puzzling decision. -
Overall this reissue sounds good to me, except side f, which sounds partially distorted especially Tarzan and Sunshine! Anybody else? I don't have the original copy from 2005 to compare...
