I can't get over how perfectly this guy NAILS the Library Music sound. Not just in the musicality (which is brilliantly perfect), but even the springy reverb, heavy-handed compression and crunchy distortions. But getting back to the music, every track would be a stand out track on most vintage library recordings. Onsen is sure to bring big smiles to even the most cynical among us. Fantastic stuff.

Edited 5 years agoDoes anybody know how to tell the difference between the 1st press and the repress?

Brilliant set. For anyone that enjoyed the previous release on Piano Piano this will be no disappointment. Same level of detail to the arrangement and execution of sound with the primary exception being the far eastern influences where the previous Doğu Çiçekleri instead opted for a travel through Anatolia. Fidelity-wise it is dynamic and punchy. The packaging is exemplary. Killer release in every way.

Wabi Sabi is very nice, to listen to, while you are watching your lovely girlfriend gently preparing delicious sushi rolls on her milky white thighs.

I opened my email and I had a piece of mail from Light In The Attic saying that both this release and the Eastern Flowers repress were coming later this year and I built a tent in my shorts

Both this release and Easter Flowers are still available via Mr Bongo as of 4/28/20

LITA presale sold out in four minutes, but said on their website would be pressed again -- don't give in to flippers. Also confirmed via Twitter that they're working on a reissue of Eastern Flowers
