Appalling packaging but fantastic sound. One of my best sounding albums on vinyl. I love spinning this despite the atrocious presentation.
-
Really great sound, however, the packaging is the worst thing on earth, it makes damaging the record so easy, and it gets damaged badly with no effort. The record itself is great, sounds good and balanced, with no skips and very few pops, it is kinda heavy, something good. However, it might be a limited pressing, but it isn't very, limited, ask I've seen many people have it, nor is it exclusive to Urban Outfitters, since I bought it on Amazon.

literally amazing pressing! colour looks awesome and there is literally NO surface noise/pops! as for the packaging, it’s really disappointing that it’s just the annoying PVC packaging instead of a proper cover :/ other than that, it’s amazing!

Edited 4 years agoExcellent sounding silver pressing. Virtually zero surface noise and rich audio. I wasn't a fan of Chromatica on first listen but the vinyl album converted me. No artwork but hopefully that will come with a future release.

This has been liberally mastered for vinyl. Whilst, of course, most records are mastered for vinyl this is a fantastic example of an LP that sounds significantly different to the digital version. Which is saying something considering that it was recorded digitally! The artwork is such a shame. Also, the 3 acts of the album would have been much better served across three sides (perhaps with a cool etching of the Sine Wave logo on the 4th side).

Edited 4 years agoThis pressing sounds excellent and the colour choice looks really good (best out of all variants available, to be honest) – fitting for this great album. However, I can only echo the opinions on the packaging. Shockingly cheap plastic sleeve with only a sad excuse for an “insert” on flimsy tracing paper. Similarly to others, I also printed the original cover art to use as an insert / front cover within the sleeve, which makes it look much more decent. For an artist who’s known for her compelling visuals, the execution of this release is inexplicable. Luckily, in the musical department, the album really delivers and it’s one of Gaga’s strongest projects to date. My 5 stars are only for the music itself and the fantastic sound quality.

Edited 4 years agoI picked up the Silver Version from JB HiFi (Australia) as a limited exclusive with them. Great sounding Vinyl - very happy with the pressing, it sounds incredible to be honest.
I am annoyed it doesn't have a sleeve though - so have put the Vinyl into a Mofi Inner sleeve and put the other bits in front of it (insert and original plastic sleeve) and some cardboard behind all of it to give it some rigidty. Shall print up a cover I guess just so I can a spine to see it in the collection on the vinyl rack. It is pretty crappy it did not come with one - would have been a PERFECT RELEASE if it had of. -
I have print the cover on a sleeve and put it on the plastic. Nice album and vinyl but too bad it doesn't have this stunning cover on it.

Clean, quiet pressing. No sibilance or distortion, no clicks or pops. Best sounding album I’ve bought on vinyl for a while. Amazing album too!
