Received my copy and it sounds very good. Cleaned it first. Running it with an ortofon bronze cart and through a pair of Wilson sabrinas, this rig can be very unforgiving of poor quality pressings.. Definitely a great value
-
Absolutely lovely rich sound from my pressing which is perfectly flat, looks good in blue, and is reasonably heavy at 180 grams. Through Sennheiser headphones even in the quieter ages there is no noise. The channel separation is superb, particularly in the middle of Autobahn. The 12 page full colour booklet housed in the sleeve wasn't d as being there, so that was a nice surprise. Yes, OK so there's no poly-lined inner sleeve. If you collect vinyl then you'll supply your own anyway, so this really isn't an "issue" in my book. All in all, nothing but praise from me.

Edited 2 months agoThis issue a great sounding, dead quiet, flat LP. The cover artwork and the book are superb.

Super mastering quality, perfect scene and instruments separation, bass is punchy&deep, especially on Kometenmelodie 1 und Mitternacht, mids are clear, MAY BE, I heard A LITTLE distortion on highs (via Shure SRH1840 headphones), but I think it’s because of vinyl came unclean and, unfortunately, with no antistatic inner sleeve. Anyway, so nice and enjoyable copy, blue vinyl is fantastic, agree with others here. Recommend! Don’t forget to clean it before listening.

Sounds not good. Noise on both sides! Blue Vinyl looks good, but I prefer black vinyl now because of the noise

As we all know, there is only one version for both Autobahn and Tour de (no distinction between German or English). But does anyone know this 2020 colored version of the Autobahn and Tour de ,is there a TRUE GERMAN VERSION that shows "Seite" on the label?I really wish this collection I bought all are the "Seite" versions!

No issues at all with my copy. I cleaned it after unwrapping it and there's no surface noise whatsoever. Great mastering, nice separation of instruments/vocals, good soundstage. Recommended (and if you wonder how it compares to an original, I tested an original 1977 version of Trans-Europe Express against the new 2020 release and they both sound fantastic).

I had to return 2 of these before getting a copy that was ok. It really is only just ok, not a very good pressing overall. The first two had many micro scratchings and covered in tiny paper cuttings from the cheap sleeves. Also terrible noise on the last few minutes of each side.
I'm not a huge Kraftwerk fan Autobahn is just honouring some childhood memories.
If you do love Kraftwerk I would look for an older and better quality pressing. -
Just received today. B side has a little static noise, sounds OK to me. The blue vinyl just looks fantastic. Great buy.
