A bit poppy. I think a bit of washing should clear this. Sound is surprisingly listenable. I had other Mariah reissues. They sound horrible. It’s a tad better than the Japanese 1st issue cds. Anyway it’s not an expensive record. So it’s worth the money.

Great release with dynamic sound.
Mine came slightly warped but doesn't seem to ruin the sound quality at all. I noticed that just like others said, my copy also came very dirty with residues of paper and dust on surface but could easily clean it off. -
Inner sleeve was a little scuffed and had residue of cut paper, but the album sounded great. I was quite impressed. I did own the original pressing from 1997 a long time ago and I think this one doesn't sound any worse. I also own this album on cassette and Mini Disc. It is a really enjoyable record and I think it would satisfy most listeners.

Received a sealed copy of this today, inner sleeve completely covered in creases from being handled at the factory, stuck to the record, the record itself was completely filthy and covered in scuffs and scratches. Anyone else had this problem?

Surprisingly good pressing given the length of music on one record. Sure it’s not as loud as it could have been but the warmth of the vocals and the clarity of the layers of music are undeniable. Much better than the original cd.
