Listening to this on a Nagaoka MP-500H and this pressing is phenomenal, track it down while you can. -
Hard not to need a back-up copy, each track eminently a standalone collectible. For me there’s a stirring appeal to ‘ambient’ beats from this period, an innocuously flirtatious pysche-shift to the heavens. Fit for purpose.

Remarkable album, took me right back to the 1990s when I listened to ambient ‘intelligent techno’ as I called it. Great sleeve notes from Piers Harrison, too. Worth every penny. -
Edited 3 years agoI nearly broke down in tears listening to Global Communication's Arcadian at full volume. This has been one of my favorites since buying AI II double CD on a trip to London as a young man. It was always my opinion that this track along with Black Dog's Cost II that defined the Boards of Canada style that became so pervasive. Fluresence is another with a strong history to me.. Lovely packaging - I can tell whoever put this together cherishes this sound just as much as I do. Thank you so much. -
