One of the best sound quality in a record that I own. I wish all my records sound like this, rich, clear, articulate without having to put put more volume.
-
Absolutely a 10 out of 10 for the price—balanced, quiet, and richly detailed sound. If you're looking to save money without sacrificing quality, I highly recommend this pressing

It's not everyday you get a BN Classic Series (or any other record these days) that is perfect on the first copy...
This was the case here so, for once, I'm quite happy .
Mastering is great. It beast my old CD and allows the music to shine perfectly.
All in all, a good no-fuss release ! -
I wouldn’t say it’s groundbreaking necessarily, but it’s solid, energized, bluesy, golden-era bop. KPG’s mastering is wonderful and Optimal’s pressing is perfect.

Fun record, A side sounded amazing, I did hear a lot of creeks and tics on the B side, musically engaging and very dynamic.

Terrific sounding pressing. Dead quiet with superb dynamics. A solid addition to any vinyl collection.

Great album that should be in your collection - always puts me in a good mood. "Totem Pole" is my fav, but there isn't a bad track. What amazing players.
I've been listening to FLACs of this (or just YouYube at work). Finally picked up this LP version.
Outstanding copy for the money. No gatefold, but does have a poly-line inner, nice printing on front and back. No surface noise. Good instrument separation, can FINALLY hear the bass and the subtleties of playing. The trumpet is panned left and sax right, and they blend so perfectly when playing in unison.
