Notes
In special box: two folding front half-s sealed with a sticker.
Direct Metal Mastering (DMM).
Remastered direct from the original master tapes and pressed on 45rpm heavy weight 200g virgin vinyl audiophile discs.
Double Vinyl. Limited to 1,000 individually numbered copies.
Originally released in 2007
Most of the songs are presented in noticeably different mixes than the original album release:
All of the sound effects that bridge the songs on the original double LP, CD and digital releases are completely absent in this version, making many of the tracks much shorter than they appear on traditional releases. Additionally, while the more common versions of the album have the beginnings or endings of tracks featured on their neighboring track ("I See Who You Are" being the most obvious example), all songs are presented individually on this DMM release.
Earth Intruders, Wanderlust, Innocence and Declare Independence are presented in their radio edits as featured on their respective multi-format box set and digital singles, all mixed by Mark Stent. However, there are additional changes to some of these mixes:
- "Earth Intruders" is in it's 'Extended Mark 'Spike' Stent Mix' form (not the shorter 'Radio Edit') with an additional change: Björk's vocals end with her repeating "March, march, march" and the track concludes with music only whereas the 'Extended Mark 'Spike' Stent Mix' ends with these vocals over music: "We are the earth intruders, muddy with twigs and branches, marching voodoo"
- As stated above, "Wanderlust" does not feature the sound effects at the beginning as found on 'Mark Stent Mix' (or album version)
Note, however, that the credits on the liner notes seem identical to the original release and may not reflect the actually persons responsible for the mix found on this double DMM album.
