That remix is fantastic ! Really ! The pressing is good but does not sound as fantastic as the original dig out your soul vinyl

Edited 4 years agoComing back to this MPB mix opus very often lately......in the wake of the new The Amorphous Androgynous "We Persuade Ourselves We Are Immortal - Remixes" RSD vinyl.....like i never did in the last 11 years. Really hope NG - and the fact that the masters were not destroyed as he said once - will give the OK to that lost album by him & The AA....Please make justice, put it out from the sock drawer!

FSOL aka The Amorphous Androgynous are my favourite artist by a long way but I think here we had a glimpse of something that could really have changed the musical landscape forever.damn shame it didn't happen.
Nonetheless,I wish them all well and thank them for their contribution to my musical life, especially the mighty FSOL. -
Edited 6 years agoIt's too bad that Oasis didn't do more collabs like this. FSOL make it sound like a Brendan Lynch / Lynch Mob cinematic hippie-dub freakout trip that refuses to stop.

It takes something special for me to like any guitar music and this is something special. The base equation of two thirds psychedelia and one third 'FSOL' ambience, transform professional miseryguts Liam and Noel Gallagher into a seventies style loved up psychedelic wig out.
Sitars play and children sing, and that is only side one. Broken down into five parts the song is a testament to the skill of Brian Dougans and Gary Cockbain as it always sounds fresh and exciting.
