Edited one month agoMy pressing sounds really great, the volume is good unlike earlier pressings and it has a clean sound with little to no surface noise. The splatter is also really cool. And for reference my pressing was Made In like many of the others who gave positive reviews -
This pressing is very noisy. I bought it new and it sounded bad right from the beginning. I washed it with the spin clean and I also gave it an ultrasonic cleaning. Still noisy. The splatter looks cool but the sound is disappointing.

Made in . Excellent, quiet pressing, with good instrument balance and healthy low end. None of the noise issues that people seem to be noting (mostly with the Made in Italy copies.) -
Edited 9 months agoLooks beautiful, Sounds great. A little bright on the top end perhaps, but still a cheap & readily available 33rpm alternative to the AP45 I suppose. -

O.K. gotta give 'em (Rhino) their props - this (German copy) is a niiiice album! Pretty splatter, has that silky ribbon/SM-5 type high-end clarity on the vocals, tight bass, yadayada
It really would've looked cool with a blue and white Atlantic logo instead of red and green, but whatever!
I am hearing details lost on the cd - I'll give it several thumbs up!

Okay so I have the Italian copy and theres noise between the first 3 tracks (Meatplow to Vaseline and Vaseline to Lounge Fly) and nowhere else, otherwise very well mixed and pretty good sounding. I also like when the colored vinyl matches the color scheme of the cover or vibe of the album, especially here. Would be a light five without the noise between the early tracks.
