Fabulous. This is one of the best-sounding records in my collection. Super rich and clean punchy bass that doesn't drown out the immaculate rapping or the rest of the beat, just amazing dynamics overall. I have a VG+ copy and it is pretty silent. If you really do love this album get an original pressing. I know its pricey but the second I played it my buyer's remorse disappeared.

Edited 3 months agoDoes anyone know where this was pressed? Trying to figure out how well does the repress compare to this. Mastering and distribution are the same, the repress was pressed in Mexico, and the missing information is where this had been pressed. Thanks! -
Outrageously good. It's a really well-engineered album, so I doubt you can go wrong with any pressing, but the original hits like a truck. White hot. -
The best sounding hip hop vinyl in my collection. The mastering on this pressing is very powerful. -
Love this and have had my copy since 1998. I can’t where I got it, but it has ‘Lent for promotional use only etc etc…’ stamped in gold over the barcode. -
I bought this album years ago, not knowing it was a first-pressing. The guy didn’t even know either (Oh, well…). Great-sounding discs, even if it doesn’t end the same as the original CDs. -
paid a pretty penny and am extremely happy with this. the sound is to die for, without a doubt one of the very most well done across the board albums in all of rap, definitely tied with ATLiens as the best Outkast album. no serious record collection should be without this incredible record. -

One of the best sounding records I own. No joke, this original pressing is white hot and if you can get your hands on one do not hesitate. -
