Love this series and label but my copy too is pretty badly cupped or bowled or dished or whatever it is the kids say

The music is all time. Yet the set is cupped and I get nostalgia and all but the fidelity is not great at all. The simulations of overloaded mastering comps and tape saturation just makes It painful to hear. I love love love what colemine does with soul funk and Afro beat. It’s a blessing. Can we just bring fidelity into It. It all sounds like it’s coming out of a distorted transistor radio really really sad. -
Edited 3 years agoI had ro wait until the repress, and it took a while but soooooooo worth it!!!! Soul and funk at its finest!!!! -
