This pressing is awesome! i love the subtle but clear marbling and i think its sounds and plays amazing!
-
Pretty disappointing to be honest. The sound is ok…. But it’s really really off centered which caused a lot sound problems… the discs also don’t really look that nice to be honest
-
My pressing is great. good quality. Jacket is a bit thin and easily breaks on the end. Check the YT Vinyl Tonic video to hear my copy.
-
It’s a bit on the lighter and thinner side which is kind of a bummer considering it was a 40$ 2lp. It has a little surface noise but nothing I’d complain about.
What I really LOVE about this pressing however is that the color is perfect this should have been the standard color for this album. I know there’s a neon pink one I believe that’s much rarer and sought after but if you can look past the value, this one is far superior collectible wise -
Actually a really nice pressing IMO. I did a back-to-back comparison of Diamond Heart from the 2016 black pressing to this edition on the same TT. The bass sounds slightly muffled on the black pressing and seems to be mixed to be more vocal-forward, whereas on this edition I could pick out more nuances in the guitar, but I got more surface noise. I also did a physical comparison of the two pressings as well and I'm not sure I see any difference in quality? The disks feel the same weight and the inner sleeves seem to have the same thickness and finish. Side by side the outer jackets look identical. Overall I feel ok with ousting my black copy to make room for this one in my collection.

The record is noisy (especially side D). My copy has slightly different colors, 2nd LP has a brighter color.

This is a decent pressing. The first disc came much lighter, a more white with a tinge of pink, compared to my second disc’s blush color, as d. In of sound quality, I do wish everything was a bit more dynamic and vibrant, but overall not a terrible to listen to. This album is a standout in Gaga’s discography, because it’s probably her most experimental album, along with Artpop. This version isn’t terrible, and I’ll still definitely keep listening to it, but the standard version will likely have better sound quality. I still don’t regret getting the colored version though, because it looks great!

Here is little comparison to the standard black pressing (EU):
-the inner sleeves are very thin (the black one has thick and stable inner sleeves)
-the disc is lighter (the black one was way heavier)
-the sound quality is worse - but not bad. (None of the Gaga represses were bad imo)
-the discs are very static
-the color is beautiful -
