Edited 9 years agoQuite an awesome departure from Icon of Coil (that can, and much like later Combichrist, can come off a bit cheesy and bland) THAT would not be true on this record. There are much fewer lyrics on this record than the later catalog, even the record following this is one is not as over saturated with vocals. That is what makes the focus on music here so strong. These are without a doubt songs that where festering around in a mind that stand apart from his group project. They feel more honest and are for certain, they are more brutal! The best song from the musician, later turned full on band lives on this record and spawned a very sought after single that is a mini dance monster in itself, the Kiss the Blade E.P. http://discogs.sitiodesbloquea.com/Combichrist-Kiss-The-Blade/release/212549
