    I’m hunting for a cover for this OG Shuggie. I know it’s a long shot, but always worth floating it out there. The cover I have is more like a theory of a cover… a little heartbreaking bc the vinyl is sharp.

      ...a late amazing discovery in spring 2001, thanks to david byrne's
      luakabop-label. no wonder present musicians like beck, prince, stereolab
      & high llamas praise shuggie otis that much. subtle soul funk-pearls with
      magnificient string arrangements, catchy keyboards and effective drumbox,
      which all sounds that modern like recorded yesterday! hailed as a young
      black blues guitar-"wunderkind", he was asked to replace mick taylor of
      the rolling stones, but shuggie had other things in mind...
