It’s a clean pressing. I don’t know what other pressings sound like, but to me the soundstage isn’t particularly crisp. And to my ears, this seems a little more pronounced on record 2, especially side 2 (which are quieter songs to begin with). Any one else find this?
If I could I’d give it a 3.75 stars. feel there must be better pressings out there, but it’s still a good listen :) -
Note that a remaster by Bob Ludwig, cut by Chris Bellman, is being released on September 30, 2022. I'm sure it will sound fantastic.

Shame it doesn't come with the CD anymore. Each version is different from the other in spots. Same goes with the following record. If you've heard the CD a million times and okay play either album on vinyl you'll definitely spot the differences. There's a cold ending to a song on YHF on the vinyl edition that I prefer. Buy this and listen for your self to see which song.

Edited 2 years agoUnreal how clean this sounds, but I'm waiting for the announcement of a 20th-anniversary reissue.
Edit: This was an enjoyable & clean pressing... I dunno it's which one I like more between this & the new mastering on the 20th-anniversary vinyl -

Sounds great, pretty much flawless other than like a couple of rotations in a row that had a click but i'm not complaining at all. Not even worth mentioning i don't know why i'm even saying this lol. Drums sounds so good in this album. Pressing is near perfect 9/10. Buy it, it's great. They put the innersleeves separate form the vinyl. The vinyl themselves are in the classic plastic + paper on the outside which is way better than putting them directly on the glossy paper of the innersleeves. nice touch.

All the details that are part of this excellent recording are present. Great soundstage. Vinyl flat and quiet. Needed wet cleaning. Loving spinning it!

Seems to be of the same high quality as the previous reissues. Sounds very good. Very nice packaging.
