Mine has the labels on the wrong side :/
Side A on side B and vice versa.
I don't know, maybe a rarity or something? It sounds pretty good. -
Jack White owns his own (very decent) pressing plant. Why is he using a shitty plant like Erika Records to press his vinyl? :/
-
Ultrasonic cleaned twice before listening, and still some pretty steady pops and clicks. However, they are VERY minor in of being audible, and never really bothered me.
Overall, I’m happy with this pressing, especially the vocals. Jack’s voice is so present and three-dimensional, it’s like he’s in the room. -
This is weird. I got one that I ordered from a store in the UK that only sells NEW records. But my copy (with ERIKA in runouts) did not have any shrinkwrap, they just put it in a regular loose fitting outer protective bag (no seal whatsoever). Anyone else's copy arrive the same way? I see a lot of copies for sale saying "Sealed" leading me to believe this is supposed to have come shrinkwrapped.

Oddly enough, I just so happened to have ordered one release of this album from one website, forgotten about it, then ordered another release from another website. Now that I have them both, the two are different releases. One says "ERIKA" in the runout, the other says "DETROIT", so I can do a direct comparison of the sound quality. I'll post an update here.

Echoing the statements here about high surface noise and pops/ticks. Vacuum cleaned two copies from Amazon multiple times, I couldn't get them even remotely quiet. I'll wait for another pressing since I enjoyed the mastering.
-
My copy is flat and quiet! Maybe I got lucky. On my rig this sounds really great! Super pleased with this $20 record.

I do Love me some jack white... I really do.. It's just too bad his final touches on most/all of his pressings are absolute garbage. The list goes on and on. Too bad man.
-
My pressing is perfect after running it through the rcm. Needs some volume for full effect of the soundstage but I'm happy with this release. Definitely analog sounding.
