Nino Nardini – Nature / Nocturne

Good music if you're a goofy kind of guy or if your just in a silly mood...or of you just like to be tickled or if your a giggler....or if your on Psycilosybin (i.e tripping your balls off on mushrooms).... other than that i'm gonna "".......

Just lately being widely recognized by newcomers and old collectors among French music libraries, "Nature Nocturne" by Nardini is standing up as being at the same time the clear successor of "Jungle Obsession" and half part of a unit equal combo with other IM lp 18 "Melodies with a Beat".
Infact if the latest record with the red cover stands being the strongest emotive feeling with the music reaching some very important heights like the feerique fast paced "Dreamland", the wild sensations of "Moody Moment" and the soft classy drama of "Velvet Clouds" and "Remembrance", here this green re-used IMLP colored sleeve makes a perfect pair with a same luscious bunch of full rich flavoured 14 tracks.
Nardini master exotic and percussive touch is all there, around the corner with this library being the perfect imaginery journey in a bar in the clouds reflecting all the nature shining over them.

The Solina string ensemble pad was used strongly mimicking the string orchestra highs in the "Melodies with a Beat" but here the overrall mood comes in softer and widely relaxing: the synthesizer and the electronic pallette is implied with some marvellous piano and percussive instruments, synthesizer timbric value is totally soft and rich in pushing our sense into mellow waves of joy.
The main melody flows-in like drops of a gentle watery cascade, taking many sparkling crystal shapes : from the real watery concrete music clicking of "Mysterious Cavern" to the musique concrete blowing wind and a fast piano in "Tempest".
On the relaxing side "Quiet Stream" and "Morning Dew" shows up a wonderful piano melody, the instrument wich has a primary part into side A of this record library, always treated like a voice or a subtle accompaniement, always suggesting a bucolique dreamy wake up-like state in a fantasy morning wet country made of green.
Again the wind blows in with "Storm Clouds" with Nardini using the synth perfectly like one nature-mimicking instrument with his blowing tones and bassy waving off and on.
Exactly as the titles suggests with "Peaceful Night" we enter then, with side B, into the Nocturne mood trough a warm ambiental track quietly tickled by a roundy drum machine beat and a wide spacey keyboard.
All the moments of a ing evening into the night are enhanced here: from the swinging drink "Bossa De La Noite" to the soothing "Twilight" or the sauvage greenish "Jungle mood".
With "Serenity" we have a steady balance of romantic drama and baroque inventiveness, again amazingly blending the piano with the electronic synthesizer and drum machine too in the soft suspension of "Nocturnal Mist", where a middle spiral in the centre of the track reports clear synaestethic images to eidetic mind.
On ending, the perfect "Moon dust" resumes in a wide group of emotion wich let the listener satisfied and ready for the next listening experience, quietly accompagning him out of this marvellous garden of sounds called "Nature Nocturne".

Each step from start to finish has its multi-purpose face.....the tracklisting succession develop on a special imaginey and ambient landscape, soothing and vividly swinging in front of a smelly flashing night....nocturne mood folds over every soft shapes ... deserving its clarity in gloomy rooms....from rainy weather to tempest to tickling water stalactyte in a cavern...suddenly transported from and enchanted lake in a quiet stream trough stormy clouds and winter wind...the twilight cries on morning dew drops and left behind the white light in a coming peaceful night : a swinging bossa de la noite...led us to serenity and a percussive jungle mood, soon the nocturnal mist the attentive listener's mind the gift of moon dust.

Roger and Nardini....... they are alive , and special.
