If you haven’t heard the two remixes of Atmosphere Strut one can hear on streaming services, do give them a listen. Incredibly spirited. They’re a present to us fans.

Charleston Hopscotch is mad underrated, Dust To Dust and Disco Juice are amazing, one of the best disco albums, 70s albums, and just one of the best records of all time.

Cloud One's "Atmospheric Strut" struggles to make a lasting impression, with a repetitive and uninspired disco groove that fails to evolve throughout the album. The tracks lack the depth and variety needed to keep listeners engaged, making the listening experience monotonous. While the album attempts to capture the essence of the disco era, it falls short in delivering anything remarkable or memorable. "Atmospheric Strut" ends up feeling like a forgettable entry in the disco genre, lacking the innovation and creativity that distinguishes standout albums in this musical landscape.

In the mid-1970s the disco movement was in full swing. Amidst this musical revolution, Cloud One, a studio project helmed by legendary producer Patrick Adams, released their first album Atmospheric Strut. Working with iconic disco labels like Salsoul and Prelude, Adams arranged, produced and composed a large number of projects earning him 32 gold and platinum records. Atmospheric Strut showcases a fusion of disco, funk, and electronic elements, capturing the essence of the era while pushing the boundaries of what was considered traditional disco music. Adams’ meticulous attention to detail shines through in every aspect of the album, from the arrangements to the pristine sound quality. A3 “Dust to Dust” combines soaring synths and otherworldly vocals, resulting in a mesmerizing blend of disco and space-age funk. The song’s energy and uplifting atmosphere make it an instant dancefloor filler, demonstrating Cloud One’s ability to create music that bridges the gap between euphoria and introspection.

so interesting... that back in the day, the nightclub sound systems rocked several of these tracks, and atmosphere strut became the first dance floor filler. charlston hoscotch wasn't really to my liking but it too made a lot of noise, way before it was sampled and turned into a house track later. i always hoped for an extended mix of, doin it all night long, beautiful string arrangement and synth work.

'we gonna fly, fly away' i always get this one mixed up with other disco tracks because of the vocal lyrics not matching the title

"Dust to Dust" is an absolutely stellar track. I can't say enough good things about it. It's just a fantastic melodic downtempo disco groove. I only wish it were longer!
Not a fan of the "Charleston Hopstoch," but the rest of the album is very good; lots of nice late-night instrumental and danceable music. Truly a lost, hidden gem, and somewhat ahead of its time with its great synth work.
