Vinyl in great condition (second hand copy), no scratches or surface noise ... just appalling mastering, pretty much unlistenable if you know what it's meant to sound like. So disappointing -
Wow! I’d not heard of here until she came up on a tidal playlist and I literally had to pull over on my bike and find a copy of the album, how I had missed her, I have no idea as this is pretty much everything I love!
I’m going to go all audiophile snob here and wonder what systems people are listening to this on who are not enjoying the mastering as this sounds just incredible on my system, detailed and intimate, her vocal sounds stunning. It makes me glad I stepped up to the next cartridge up when I replaced my old one earlier this year (hana sl) as this is just flowing seamlessly from my speakers.
It’s an old but (mostly) sealed copy, a few pops and clicks but nothing major. So far, so flat too, so maybe I just got lucky? -

my copy: LP 1 is nice and flat, LP 2 is a little warped but doesn’t affect playback, LP 3 is warped to shit and unplayable -
Bought this new in 2011 or 2012. Nice package, dead flat vinyl. Not completely quiet, has some crackles here and there, but overall audio quality is quite good. -
Bought a copy from Norman Records, and LP2 and LP3 both had huge scratches near the inner grooves, sound quality overall great but the scratches caused huge pops on an the quiet parts, which made the listening experience insufferable. Happy to say that Norman refunded me, and I am trying my luck elsewhere. Amazing album otherwise :)

i feel sorry for the contingent of commenters who are disappointed with their copies. i found an unopened copy today at wooden nickel in ft. wayne and it's perfect. flat, no surface noise. but my copy somehow came with 2 booklets lol -
Just bought a second copy, easily one of my favorite records. May it stay in print forever!
