Peter HELLER must have stumbled on Starguard - Wear It Out by chance and took the sample out of it that happened to become a big hit in some clubs. I really doubt he had any idea of what Steely Dan - Peg was by the time he put together this track I personnally consider as an insult to music. I have to it I have never been used to go out in these loud, noisy and drug use based on clubs. No connection indeed, even though the structure of sample and effects could lead to think of Steely Dan - Peg.

Both tracks indeed include a sample from "Wear It Out" by Starguard, and beautiful done I must add, but the track itself is heavely based on, if not, totally relies on the the seminal and genius soft rock / jazz funk track "Peg" by "Steely Dan" from the 1977 LP "Aja". Sample also used in a "De La Soul" track, amongst many other tracks by many other artists... Essential Choon for those who like to groove on a feel good vibe that's very reconizable on the dance floor. Timeless groover....
