My copy sounds good, a little more surface noise than my black copy which is virtually noiseless. There are a couple loud pops on Sorrowful Soil, but everything else sounds pretty good. I’m actually quite fond of the color of this pressing, it reminds me of the mushrooms used everywhere on this release’s packaging.

my copy plays great - also there seems to be additional Björk vocals on the title track that isn’t on streaming??

My pressing. White specs in the vinyl which create pops when playing, also the colour is like a yellow cloudy clear which is a bit ugly to be honest. This album seemed very strong when the singles came out. Atopos is very unique and actually one of my favourite björk songs, and I have grown to love the track ovule an incredible amount. However when the full album came out it seemed very inconsistent and that’s why it’s ended up being one of my least favourite bjork albums in her discography. Some tracks have random flutes which I thought we had left behind in her last album “Utopia”??? Also some medulla influence, then some volta trumpets and more random stuff just makes it really tragic and uncomfortable to listen to. Very inconsistent, has some great tracks, but I don’t like the album as a whole as of now.

The vinyl edition of this album is pretty disappointing. It's clearly an unfinished mix, as her children's guest vocals are missing, which makes "Ancestress" and "Her Mother's House" sound completely different and very hollow. Also, it has an early mix of "Ovule" as well which doesn't sound as full or powerful. She should've either delayed the vinyl release in order to get the final mix on it, or delayed the album altogether if she wanted all versions out at the same time. As for this variant, the "transparent" color is hideous, more of a milky translucent. Just not a good pressing.

Here to say mine is cloudy and it does have pops here and there but the color is more like a cream yellow color. I’m happy with it, it fits the cover so well in my opinion

my record is a milky/vanilla color and is pretty silent throughout, this pressing seems to be very inconsistent though, it seems many people were unlucky.

Thank goodness, rough trade gave me a refund. White specks we’re all over the first yellowed plastic disc. They caused loud pops and there’s also a scratch that makes sorrowful soil unplayable. Very very disappointing.

The colour itself is kinda disappointing, as stated before, a yellow-ish fog, I don't really find it connected to the artwork. As for the record itself, surface noise all over, not loud, but present throughout (even after brush/zerodust). The basses go low, which is cool, while the lower mid are quite absent, and the upper-mid/high frequencies range (mainly vocals) fell restrained and on the edge of distorted harshness... I can't say this pressing really compliments the music... it might just be my copy though.

yellowish clear, little specks in it for me, gives off a sporey mushroom air vibe i like it, as for sound quality it’s not bad, not amazing, just good

Can anyone tell where this was pressed? It doesn't have the Optimal code (beginning BM) that's listed on the black version, but there's also no other obvious identifiers for other plants. Same lacquer credit though so for those asking it won't be any different from the music on the other versions.
