Aside from some light crackle after a brush clean, mine sounds insanely good. Far from muddy at least for me on all 11 tracks, including Brendan #1. Beautiful clarity, punch, separation, dynamics, stereo imaging. Vinyl is centered, flat, and the transparent blue looks incredible. Money well spent!
Also, you’ll want to crank this one. It really shines at high volumes. -
Edited 5 months agoAgree with the "muddy" and "coin flip" comments here, especially on Brendan #1. Maybe I don't have the best setup, but this blue vinyl is definitely noisier than digital (same setup). Quieter parts sound good IMO. Shame I can't return it anymore. Happy for anyone that is satisfied with their copy.

Edited one year agoSolid pressing. Really cool blue color with some swirls when held up to the light. No defects. Just Fugazi blasting out of your speaker. 1, 2, 3 REPEATER!

I haven’t owned a copy of this since 1990 and that was a cassette so when I saw this I grabbed it with the intention of giving it a spin for my kids to see if it lit a fire in them like it had done for me 34 years ago (man I’m fucking old) ?
Blue wax was a surprise but I’m very happy to Report that my copy was in fact very quiet, flat and sounded at times better than many of my Mobile Fidelity LP’s. Needless to say this pressing is well worth your $. -
These colored vinyl reissues have been a coin flip for me. Some good, some noisy. Opaque always seems better than clear. The copy I got of this was good, no surface noise pops or ticks. Killtaker on clear vinyl was a loser.

Mediocre pressing, has a bit of crackle and more importantly, it sounds muddy. Almost like a cassette was pressed to wax. Anyone familiar with this album knows the production value is pretty clear and has a very distinct clarity at that. This pressing, IMO doesn’t do it justice.

Really fine sounding reissue on blue vinyl. Little bit of light crackle on one track of side B, but I'll give it a brushing next time. Great dynamics and has plenty of drum thump.
Very nice music and tight playing from this post hardcore band. -
I have to it I am not a fan of having Fugazi on colored vinyl (ordered from Amazon and didnt know it was colored); anyway, didn't receive a card on my copy, but this sounds great so I will eat my hat and enjoy the music and not ephemeral things :)

Excellent, quiet pressing. Beautiful blue color. Glad they are not opposed to the colored vinyl pressings with their catalog. Sounds great and hoping they do the others and a vinyl pressing of 13 songs.
