Edited one month agoit came covered in dust and had so much static i had to rip the inner sleeve open and yank the vinyl off from the bottom, but it's mostly silent! I didn't bother cleaning it, but surface noise is kept to a minimum
but for under 18 bucks??? hell yeah!
there's always something I disliked about the sound of the original disc, but this is great! theres so much life to how this sounds.
i am gonna get an exchange to see if i can get a slightly better copy though. -
confused on whether this is a us or europe pressing lol says manufactured and printed in usa on the back but has a made in czech republic sticker

Edited 4 months agoI recently rediscovered ATCQ and decided I wanted to own this album. In researching the various pressings that were reviewed here on Discogs, I was convinced that a “good” pressing of this album did not exist. I decided to take a chance on ordering a random one from Amazon ($18.67 USD) simply because of their return policy if it sounded as terrible as reviews of other pressings led me to believe.
This is the pressing that arrived and I must say that it sounds EXCELLENT! Crisp and clear highs for that classic old school rap vibe. Great midrange in the vocals. And the bass is solid and punchy. Sounds very good. I highly recommend! -
