Edited one year agoSuch an epic pressing, there are none better. i purchased SBS in the 90s NM but now have all of the NEMS Japanese pressings NM with insert and Obi. The clarity, amplitude, and volume are breathtaking. You can hear and feel the studio environment. The funny thing is the lyric insert has mostly the wrong lyrics. I am not sure if this was intentional or misinterpreted: "Finding the music there and please take my hand." should be "My name is Lucifer, please take my hand." Perhaps this reference to satan was problematic for the Japanese at the time?

I have the first 5 Japanese NEMs. Bought these when they were still very reasonable in NM condition. So glad I did.
Of all these aforementioned records, if I could only keep one, this would be it. It's trully incredible. Silent Japanese vinyl with full dynamics. It sounds amazing for an LP recorded in 1970. -
It's being discussed heavily within audiophile forums,.the Japan nems takes the crown w/ the UK vertigo being runner-up,.

Anyone else's cover larger than usual? My Obi doesn't fit properly. Anyway, sounds fantastic. The best version I've heard.

Fantastic sounding pressing. Open, spacious and loaded with miniscule details Geezer's bass has never sounded better.
