This also has CB in the deadwax, meaning it was cut by Chris Bellman, same as the US version. -
A very neutral remaster, crystal clear and pressed very nicely but for me it could have done with a little more bass. The driving bass in don’t stop is epic but on this edition is slightly anonymous sadly. I have a powerful pre /power amp combo with floorstanders (towers) so I can imagine with a smaller setup you might be disappointed in the remaster. Previous comment is correct, I have to push the volume higher compared to other records in my collection to get the result I want.

The reissue sounds great but a bit low in volume, but the vinyl is very silent so no problems with that! Great album -
Steve Perry sounds incredible on this reissue. Escape is probably the epitomy of early 80's arena rock. Though undeniably a pop record, Schon's rock chops make this an AOR masterpiece.
