Sheer electro class by E.R.P. aka Convextion, he’s on one here. The Texan delivers four top drawer examples of patented emotional punishment heavily inspired by ‘80s synth and body music, up there with Drexciya and Model 500.
Forged in the image of Detroit, but also distinguished by synthetic sensuality. E.R.P. plays to his finest strengths on each cut, manning the sleek menacing power of ‘V / Eight’, the immensely wide and powerful bass line thrust and soaring pads of ‘Equiponderance’, and really taking it there with the late night melodies of ‘Engine Vibration’ and finally finishing up with the melancholic electro of ‘Enfield’. Massively feeling it!
