Top tier pressing of this album! Sound is excellent and the discs and jacket both look great. I might take some flack for this, but personally, I don't feel like the second disc adds much. Its neat to hear alternate versions of some of the songs, but I think I would have preferred a one disc release that kept everything else the same. It doesn't detract though, still a 5/5 release. -
This album sounded and looked great but I returned the 1st one because of a defect\scratch\smudge that you could clearly hear and see towards the end of "My Immortal" and the beginning of "Haunted". Returned for an exchange, took home, pulled out the record and immediately saw the same defect at the exact same location. My Target definitely had a bad batch of this album which is a shame because it sounds so good otherwise. Will be returning this one as well.

Edited one year agoThis reissue is very well done... from the cool holographic gatefold packaging, extra bonus record of demos, to the very nice blue smoke vinyl color. But the star of this reissue is the sound. I had the prior reissue that was very underwhelming, and actuality sounds worse than the CD. This 20th anniversary edition has been remastered and cut at Sterling by Joe Nino-Hernes (who has done lots of great prior work) and it is a giant leap ahead of the prior and kills the CD. This finally has the impact with huge bass, soaring guitar riffs, and of course piercing vocals this album deserves. There is a bit of surface noise between tracks, but these songs completely cover that up. Highly recommend all around
