Excelente sonido y excelente selección de música. Mucho funk poderoso! Uno de mis favoritos desde ahora!!

This compilation is really enjoyable, glad I picked this up today! "Time Is Tight" is a personal favorite, and then things just get funkier as the record plays. Agree with other reviewers that side B is freaking wonderful.
-
Incredible pressing with nonstop grooves from beginning to end. Will have you deep diving into 80s funk in no time. Def party pleaser that is well produced by the fine folks at Jazz Dispensary. Grab it, throw it down, and chill.

Edited one year agothe music and sound are wonderful. everything else is a shameful disgrace. Editions of this series have always been distinguished by the coolest design. and here it’s not thick cardboard, but regular cardboard. Let me remind you that this is an RSD edition. There is no volumetric embossing of letters, the design sucks. no comparison with previous editions of the series.

Edited one year agoNice, clean, and quiet copy I picked up on the discounted rack. The B side tracks are super groovy and funky from the start to end! A side is good but once you flip over to B it gets better!

I'm lovin' it! 😍
Another awesome compilation from Jazz Dispensary. A well curated compilation of funky tracks. I make a point of picking up every compilation from Jazz Dispensary, and I haven't been disappointed yet! 😮
As far as pressing quality goes, I have no complaints. My copy is very flat (no warps) and has very little surface noise.
The cover has great artwork and the Purple Haze vinyl looks really sweet 💜 This is definitely one of my new favorite albums! -
Another RSD gem from Jazz Dispensary and after the last few albums having some degree of warpage, this one is dead flat and sounds amazing. They are back to form. I have no idea what happened to the previous 3 or 4 releases (mine were slightly buckled) but this one is el perfecto. The only spot gloss on the cover is the Jazz Dispensary logo on the top right-hand comer of the album cover. I was hoping for a few more frills in the artwork (spot gloss, raised lettering, etc) but it's good for what it is. Transparent light purple vinyl with a dark purple and white marbling through it... and it sounds fantastic.

This album is amazing. Pure jazz-funk goodness. After RSD, the album hit #1 on the Contemporary Jazz charts. Flat, quiet, and delicious.

I was able to snag this release after having not been able to attend RSD. I was lucky my store had exactly 1 copy left over that I snagged and I must say it is fantastic. So beautifully mixed and dynamic. The vinyl is quiet with little to no rumble. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this and I highly recommend it.

I have every single Jazz Dispensary release and this one is one of their very best. Amazing pressing and even better music selection!
