Some songs sound beautiful. Some songs sound flat and just ok. It’s still worth it imo. I have the US pressing.

I own a copy of QUEEN 'GREATEST HITS 2 ' on HOLLYWOOD RECORDS.
Side C from this pressing of 'BORN THIS WAY ' has been mispressed onto this. Has anybody else
heard of this or owns a copy of 'BORN THIS WAY ' Side C with possibly the QUEEN tracks on ?

Edited 3 months agoReviewing Every record in my collection:
This pressing sounds way less spectacular than I it. I had it in mind like one of the best sounding EDM records I have, but now that I've relistened to it after a couple of years and having listened to many other records, this one's a bit of a let down. Comparing it to another Gaga record that does sound AMAZING like The Fame, this one sounds less wide, a bit more in the back and not as clear and punchy as I would like it to be. It still sounds good don't get me wrong, but I it sounding better than it does which leaves me with a bit of a bittersweet taste on my mouth -
This is one of my favorite albums and not my favorite pressing. It’s got surface noise and I’ll echo others that it sort of plays loudly no matter what. That said, it’s certainly not terrible and I’m not necessarily listening for quiet moments on BTW anyway.

These comments are so divided! I purchased this around its release date and have none of the problems mentioned. Labels are correct, no warping, no skipping. The sound is great. I’m spinning with a Ortofon stylus and Black Jesus, Heavy Metal Lover, and Electric Chapel have never sounded better. It’s just a slight bit high-end heavy but I feel like that was intentional when creating the album. It’s a great pressing if you have the right equipment

The side 1 and side 2 labels on our copy of the first record is switched. I haven't had a chance to check the second record. Definitely clean the album before you spin it. That helps with the sound quality.

I just got a copy of this and I honestly think it sounds phenomenal, I was surprised to see some of the comments on here. The mixing itself on Born This Way has a pretty muddy/messy quality to it, no matter what format you listen to it on, and I think listening on this pressing was probably the best I've heard it.

The first half of my copy sounds amazing and lively!!! As for the second disc I have no comment because I received disc 2 of Amy Winehouse’s posthumous album so yeah there’s that lol

Is it the best pressing? No. But on a good quality turntable you will get some good sound, nothing excellent but its still enjoyable. My copy skips during Judas, and for some reason is missing the inner sleeve for sides A/B. I have the right records, one A/B and a C/D but for the inner sleeves I have two C/D sleeves.... weird as I bought it brand new sealed...
