Three sides of okay stuff with two great solo's by Gilmore but Side 4 is a huge let-down, its a shame. Who needs another boring and feebly recorded Space is the Place with very loud audience participation? Or 4 minutes of Akh Tal Ebah speaking in tongues (not! he's shouting gibberish); 1.45 minutes of applause (yes, just applause - wtf?) and 2.23 minutes of a one-liner by Ra followed by more audience chatter followed by the club owners announcements about gigs to come. Why would you want to pay for all this? For a ho-hum RSD set with too many liner notes from the wise and hip (John Corbett, Thurston Moore and others), this is rather disappointing.

This might be one of the best Sun Ra live albums I've ever heard. Brilliant stuff! And this pressing sounds amazing.
