Original mono issue. The mono mixes of the songs were done at a different time and are different than the stereo mixes. This mono release was simultaneous with the release of the stereo version.
Tower Records altered the songs on the album from the original British release to include their single See Emily Play, and dropped the songs 'Astronomy Domine', 'Flaming' and 'Bike' from the record. Also, names of the songs 'Pow R. Toc H.', 'Take Up Thy Stethoscope and Walk' and 'Chapter 24' are misspelled.

Edited 2 months agoDon't know why this version is listed when there is already a listing for a mono Rainbo West coast pressing with exact same type setting on label and spelling mistakes.
This is a great sounding pressing btw. -
Edited 3 years agoI like that this track listing ends with a bang, rather than the way it sort of piddles out w/ the goofy Syd tracks on other versions -
Really nice press. Loud, and a somewhat cheaper alternative to the mono EMI version. Still think it sucks that 3 songs are missing and replaced by a mediocre one though.
