Reviews
-
One of my favorites albums of all time. Perhaps I have just heard the original mix too many times, but I found this pretty much unlistenable. Tinny and thin sounding, it almost hurt my ears to listen to it, even after EQ-ing the heck out of it. I am tempted to try buying it again after reading the other review here and the reference to bass response. Is it possible I got a "bad one" somehow?
I would be interested in hearing what a few other fans thought of this reissue.
In the meantime, my current copy looks fantastic hanging on the wall with the new album cover+vinyl frame I bought for it. Unfortunate, as I was so hopeful for this 50th Anniversary edition.

Sounds good to me. I was afraid it would not have enough volume due to the length of each side and I HAVE turned the volume up a bit more than normal, but not by much. It's not an issue.
