Edited 3 months agoSo pumped this is finally on wax! Thanks to everyone who made it happen.
My copy sounds great, except I’ve had two copies that skip in the same place right at the word Arkansas on B Side track 1. Looks like the record is sold out now and would love the company to make it right somehow with a fully working copy. *Update: Acony records worked with me to get a flawless copy. Thanks for all who helped in that process.
Looking forward to Big Iron World and fingers crossed for Eutaw release as well. -
Excellent! Absolutely a must have. Waited a long time for this to finally come out on vinyl. My copy was flat and clean. Sounds great. Could not be happier. -

Edited 5 months agoJust finished my first listen. It sounds excellent and the mastering was well done. Great soundstage and separation. Instruments and vocals sound warm and you can crank it. Very happy with the mastering overall.
I believe this is the first pressing I've heard from Paramount. I do have a few pops on each side, which is a bummer. Vinyl itself looks clean, labels are centered, but the pops are annoying. The record itself came in an archival rice paper sleeve.
The jacket is high quality and well-printed. The gatefold is nice. A worthy reissue for sure. If I can't get the pops out with a cleaning I might need to get a replacement though.
Edit: I was able to get my pops out with a spin clean, then run through the ultrasonic. Happy camper.
